Hi there! Just heard about your amazing organization on global news! I’d love to donate my dress- it’s beautiful and I was only married 6 months ago so it’s still in style. The only problem is, it is pretty dirty along the bottom of the dress. I know they don’t need to be cleaned prior to donation but I’m just concerned that it may be too much! Please let me know if you truly don’t mind the state of the dress- other than that it is beautiful and in prime condition! Thanks!

Today I receieved an email from Melanie – the bride who purchased my dress in June and got married last week. It totally made my day!

Thanks Bride’s Project for finding my dress a new home. Who knows, maybe it’ll get donated back again and a third bride can wear it!

My daughter purchased a gown from you yesterday, she is getting married in Ontario on Aug 1 and as of yesterday did not have a gown. my husband saw the special and advised her to try your shop. Needless to say she was thrilled as are we to see her on the 1st. Thank you so much and we are so proud and happy that she chose to buy her gown with you

This is an amazing project/company! I heard about you on the national and think you are all doing amazing work, what a great idea. I’m getting married next summer but unfortunately do not live in the Toronto area. Do you know of any place with a similar philosophy in Vancouver?

Hi, I saw your segment on TV the other day and fell in love with this idea. I will be getting married on July 22nd, 2009 and was unsure as to what to do with my Wedding dress after the Wedding. I felt it was unnecessary to store the dress just to gather dust, but didn’t want the hassle of selling it just to make a few bucks. I will definatly be donating my Wedding dress to your cause and I hope that someone can enjoy it as much as I will be on my Special Day!

I watched your episode last night and was very impressed
to find and an orginzation like yours. I was married in
2007 and was recently discussing with my husband on what to do with my dress. Well I now know where it is going.

What a GREAT idea, my aunt, and cousin both died from cancer, i know they will be with me in spirit on my big day, but to know where the money will go after the dress is bought is a great idea, you are doing a great thing, i hope to see your shop when i’m ready to buy my dress.

I just watched your segment on TV tonight and am so impressed. I was married 4 years ago and wanted to do something special with my dress, well now I have it. Thank you so much for the “sacred work” you do. I was employeed at our regional cancer centre and am very connected to the cause. Will be mailing you my dress in the next few days! I would be interested in doing something like this in our area, if you ever decide you want a ‘satellite’ in this area, please let me know will be glad to spearhead it for you!

Hi Helen – I was just browsing your website (I’m a bride to be) and wanted to say that you and your volunteers are doing great work! I think this is a wonderful initiative and it sounds like you might appreciate some extra help.

Unfortunately, I can’t commit to volunteering at the shop (I travel a lot for work), but I was wondering if you wanted someone to help take photos of your dresses and maybe help post the dresses on the site? I have a pretty good digital camera that is available.
