And the endless question… what happens with gowns that don’t sell? Well, we go through MANY routes to use them to gain donations. One major route is through PR companies working on wedding related movies. Kyra and her group at SONY provided a great contribution through their use of our gowns to promote Made of Honour:

Oh, and you thought that was it? A bunch of divas lovin’ our tulle gowns for a day? NOT SO! These gowns went on to Arts Junktion with the Toronto District School Board, and are STILL in use with a dance class of young ladies who are loving them! These gowns have had 3 lives each… but like cats… we’re waiting for nine until they’re done.

We also participate in a lot of fundraisers, and this helps raise awareness not only for the organizations involved, but also for TBP so it helps us sell more dresses and let people know we’re out here! Dean Oros did a great shoot of our group at the Canadian Cancer Society Relay for Life:
