As a year now as a wedding officiant, I have seen and performed weddings at a number of different venues. Here are some ideas and suggestions for your wedding. Please feel free to ask questions... Toulà - Toronto, is the realization of one of the projects of Arturo Filippini, President of the Gruppo Toulà. Following in the footsteps of Alfredo Beltrame, the founder of the Gruppo Toulá:

Toulà - Toronto, offers Italian cuisine and wine appreciation through its more characteristic products, to suggest a simpler and more meaningful "dining table culture".

The deal with the Westin Harbour Castle, the giant in the North American hotel industry, is proof of the confidence in the international reputation gained by Italian cuisine. The management of the hotel that hosts the new Toulà considers it a prestigious addition to the high end Canadian restaurant industry.

With its roots in the Venetian region, as always at toulà; décor and service too are part of its prestigious style. The restaurant has been totally and elegantly renovated by the architect Piero Pinto. Four Maitre'd and three chefs from Italy take care of the guests, together with the rest of the staff, hired locally.

Toulà, is located in downtown Toronto, in the heart of the financial district. It has room for 220 guests and is the sixth restaurant opened outside of Italy after Munich (1975), Monte Carlo (1982), Tokyo (1986), Beijing (1987), Helsinki (1997). Toula was the first rotating restaurant in Toronto, but no longer spins on its axis in order to provide room for the kitchen instead. It's an incredibly romantic spot with an amazing view, and I can tell you from experience that the food is stellar.

For your wedding, the menu will be customized to your needs and budget. Your ceremony can easily be done on-site, while overlooking the Toronto Harbour... or ... another idea is to pair this with a cruise on one of the many boats that tour the harbour... see my next post!

I've worked with Jill from Cruise Toronto and let me tell you... this woman will take care of you! Jill is friendly and personable, and most importantly when it comes to your wedding, she makes this an option that is extremely attractive! It's pretty much a one-stop shop, with her assistance in your catering, venue decoration, and everything else from A to Z! You and your guests come on board the Obsession III, and are completey taken care of until someone pitches you overboard ;) Your ceremony will be classy yet intimate, and everything is provided for. Ceremonies are typically in the Hanlan Island inlet which is beautiful... you can be surrounded by your family and friends, yet feel away from the City and enjoying a bit of the lovely scenery we have to offer. A cruise, dinner, dancing, drinks all in one spot. And, you'll definitely have a captive audience, even for the most boring of wedding speeches! It's a great option; all the couples married on the Obsession have been extremely happy with Jill and the services offered.
