Rosetta Li Photography
Rosetta is a professional photographer here in the GTA. Her wedding-specific website is http://www.rosettaliweddings.com. She came over with an entire crew of models, makeup artists, and hairstylists to do a photo shoot when we were back at the loft. Her work is… well… frankly breathtaking. I love the artistry, I love her ideas and flexibility. Her works are demonstrated here, with the first shoot at the bottom, and the latest at the top. You can also reach her at info@rosettaliweddings.com The website with some of her other art is available at www.rosettali.com. Check it out…
For Shoot 1 I gave her 3 of the most outrageous dresses I could find… and she gave them attitude and presence. Models provided by Stylus Model Management and Nam Personal Management, and hair/makeup by Etty Cohen, Marisa Tucciarone, Minna Loponen and Stella.

Shoot number 2.. with pics below from our new location! Yahoooooo! And with such incredibly beautiful models… I only met the 2 Asian women onsite here, and wow, they are so gorgeous! Rosetta really brought out their beauty in her shots… and as she says, it’s all a joint effort with the hair and makeup folks contributing a lot to making this a perfect day (or two).

Image Legacyphotography by Gail Edwin-Fielding
Gail redesigned the website and launched our new look at the beginning of 2009, adding some of her own photos to spiffy up the site. She found us in September 2008 when accompanying a photography client to a bridal fitting, and donated her own wedding dress a short time later, on what would’ve been her third wedding anniversary.
This is her story:
The mission for The Brides’ Project hits close to home for me. Seven weeks before my wedding, my fiance was diagnosed with cancer. As a bride-to-be, it was a nightmare I never would have imagined. In spite of the wedding preparation chaos and David’s aggressive treatment schedule, we were determined to get married as we’d planned on October 1, 2005. The morning of our wedding, David was so ill from reaction to a new chemotherapy drug that his best man tried to take him to the ER, but he refused to be admitted until we’d said our vows. After a brief ceremony, David was taken to the hospital. One week before Christmas, I told my husband I loved him for the last time, at Mercy Hospice in Scranton, Pennsylvania. We were married for all of 11 weeks.
Since that day I have vowed to do my part to raise funds for cancer research, advocate for cancer patients, participate in cancer research studies, and volunteer for the cause. As of 2010, I’m a volunteer driver for the Canadian Cancer Society, taking cancer patients to treatments and medical appointments.
As a photographer, at least 5% of my commissions is donated to the Canadian Cancer Society, and I encourage you to help the fight against cancer by making a donation, too. Here’s the deal: if you make a donation to any cancer charity dated within six months after the photo session, send me a copy of the receipt (by fax/email/post) and I will deduct that amount from the next photo session! The offer is good for one calendar year, from the date of your donation receipt.
Above all, I hope you like my work, but know that you are also directly contributing to a worthy cause, and a personal one for me: making cancer history.

Scott Photography (Ottawa, ON)
Brian Scott and his lovely wife Karen came out one snowy day in Ottawa when The Brides’ Project did a travelling roadshow to the city, to offer our services to the many brides we have in the region. They volunteered their time to document one heckuva crazy and fun day, with dresses flying left and right!
I was personally very camera shy at the time, and absolutely amazed that I did not feel self-conscious with them snapping pics. In fact, they were so unobtrusive and lovely to have around, that we hardly noticed! Many brides from the day made similar comments… heck, we were all there with no makeup, brides were trying on dresses for the first time in many cases, and they made us all feel relaxed.
That takes talent, and most importantly… great social skills! To have those amazing pictures that every bride wants for her wedding, that sense of comfort and connection with your photographer(s) is a must.
Check them out at www.scottphotography.ca to see their extensive portfolio.

BlueSixCreative.com
Blue Six Creative is a collective of Toronto photographers who came together to create www.bluesixcreative.com.
They are passionate about photography and basically shooting people that are in love with each other. They support each other and assist each other when shooting events and weddings. They really don’t like to pose people and want their subjects to focus on each other, laugh, kiss, touch and have fun.
The best pictures is when two people connect with each other. They love shooting simplicity. The couple! Take two people that are into each other and in love and stick them in a field, a parking lot, behind a building and let them go to work. They would much rather photograph two people in jeans than a wedding dress and tux. But, on the other hand, let them follow you around as the day unfolds and let them silently take pictures so that they can tell a story… and they are excited again. Love is simple… Love is kind… Love is (click)
You can find Blue Six Creative and view their work on their website as well as their blog. You can follow them on Facebook. If you have any questions for them, please contact Jason Miles and he would love to help you out.
Tell them that you seen this on The Brides’ Project and you can have 25% off an engagement shoot. Therefore, when you shoot with us, you can give us that savings in a donation to the Canadian Cancer Society and we will forward your personal cheque to them for a donation in your name.
