Veils

THE VEILS BELOW ARE A SAMPLE OF VEILS I HAVE MADE AND NAMED AFTER PREVIOUS CLIENTS. NOT ALL FABRICS ARE AVAILABLE NOW, OR ALL TRIMS! THEY ARE AN EXAMPLE OF MY WORK, THAT IS ALL. THERE ARE 100'S ON THE RACKS HERE THAT I HAVE MADE THAT ARE NOT PICTURED.

Below you will find just a sample of some of the veils I've made for clients, but there are so many more I've done, and can do. Please book early to ensure that I can meet your needs. All custom orders are non-returnable/non-refundable

ONE IMPORTANT NOTE: Lace veils/mantillas are very do-able. I ask brides to find the lace and bring it in. Lace is very subject to personal taste, so I ask you to pick what you want. I'll tell you how much you need and suggest some shops. Also, veil RE-design is possible in many cases. If you have your mother's veil or something like that, bring it in for me to see, and I'll try to work with you to create something more modern for your special day.

Here are some samples of lace veils/mantillas. NOTE: A Mantilla is a veil with lace around the front, typically worn like a drop veil.

Keep in mind that none of these pictures are 'professional'... none of the veils have been steamed... it's just right off the press. While many websites produce professional photography to illustrate their work and place their veils perfectly on a model, I don't have those funds, so we just kinda wing it! Frankly, if you order online, your veil will arrive crumpled and wrinkly... that's a fact. It won't look like that professional photo. I've been there, done that as a bride before TBP started!

I have posted just a few of the selection available. As always, my pictures aren't the best, but my models are gorgeous!

Sweet Grace #1: Here's a 2-tier veil, approx 30/36" with Swarovski crystals scattered throughout both layers. It's hard to see them under the lighting in the studio, but under normal conditons, they are brilliant! The trim on this veil is about 1/3". All other trims available.

Sweet Kathleen #2: A diamond white veil in 72" tulle with a very simple bias trim... it will lie nicely with little 'pouf', but add great elegance to your day. The trim is double sided, and about 1/2" in width. Fuller veils in 108" width also available.

Sweet Jacquelyn #3: A fingertip length veil in ivory with a matte bias trim. Great for a variety of gowns; simple stapless ivory gowns, to the more ornate. Any length available... come for a fitting! One or two tier, with and without detailing! Here's Jacquelyn enjoying her new veil!

Sweet Colleen #4: A 2-tier satin-edge finished veil in ivory, with shiny satin ribbon trim on both tiers. This veil can also be created with bias (2-sided) edging or in any length. Fingertip shown here. Pearls or crystals can be added as well.

Sweet Arlene #5: One-tier floor chapel veil with a thin satin trim.

Sweet Rita #6: Very simple elbow length veil with matte white bias trim

Sweet SueAnn #7: A fingertip veil in white, cut edge, with a double row of equally spaced pearls. Same design can be done in Swarovski crystal as well.

Sweet Sayuri #8: A veil made especially for a bride who has a dress with ruby accents... it was fun to make... it has ruby rattail trim, is fingertip length in white. Pick YOUR colour!

Sweet Bonnie #9: 1-tier veil, elbow length with shiny satin piping as the trim

Sweet Jean #10: A light ivory organza veil designed in a teardrop shape to reduce volume at the top, but have a full bottom edge. The edge is trimmed with silver piping, but many other options are available.

Sweet Lisa #11: The veil is a one-tier veil with a geometric row of AB crystals... the beauty of AB crystals is that they sparkle from every angle, and have an irridescent quality to them. You don't need to worry about them looking 'grey' in photos. However, I'd recommend clear Swarovski crystal instead.

Sweet Patty #12: A 2-tier veil in white tulle with white satin piping which adds a beautiful finish without being overwhelming!

Sweet Judy #13: A ribbon-edged veil in 2-tiers - one is fingertip length and the other extends just beyond the shoulders. Specify your length!

Sweet Debbie #14: This veil is made of a fabric that apparently has no name. It's now "sweet stuff" for reference purposes. It's like tulle in that the weave is the same, but it lies like chiffon. It's gorgeous, and soft, and for a short period of time while my supplier moves, I can get it relatively inexpensively. After that, it's $25/metre... and when you touch it, you'll know why! I HAVE ONE LEFT.

Sweet Monika #15: A chapel length tulle veil in diamond white with matching organza ribbon trim. Very 'light'. The kitties definitely approve although I don't think it's appropriate for Jimmy, quality control dude, to be running under Judy's skirt ;) Sidney, the big green snake is also giving Judy some pretty rude looks with his tongue hanging out. I think he needs to find Cecilia... his very "sssssssssweet" bride-to-be.

Sweet Sixteen #16 (of course!): Ahh, the mystery of silk tulle. Well, I went out and bought it, worked with it, and created a cathedral length veil with it in light ivory. It's an odd fabric... it's very stretchy like nylons, and will snag just as easily. Yes, it lies VERY flat... it has some weight to it. It's expensive... costing $150/metre. For each of the views above, Judy was nice enough to rotate a bit to show you the view from several angles of her cathedral length silk tulle veil.

Sweet Carla #17: A chiffon veil with burgundy trim... folks... chiffon drapes beautifully, but it needs to be treated SO carefully. Half way through sewing it you're left with half the fabric because it frays that fast, and... don't even let it come close to your E-ring. EEEP. NB. White chiffon is not a 'true' white.... the nature of the fabric is that it cannot be the 'pure' white of some gowns.

Sweet Laura #18: A standard tulle veil with a 1/4" bias trim and scattered rhinestones.

Sweet Emma #19: This veil was created for a lovely bride who needed a chapel length veil for her ceremony and wanted to switch to fingertip length for her reception. With the help of a little velcro, that's just what she got!

Sweet Michelle #20: This is a 2-tier ivory veil with 1/2" double sided satin bias trim. Cut narrow.

Sweet Elle #21: An ivory veil with 'rattail' piping as trim, cut narrow.

Sweet Melissa #22: A full 2-tier cathedral and elbow length tulle veil in white with scattered stones on the longest tier. It has since become 3-tier, with removable tiers.

Sweet Anon #23: A 2-tier veil white veil with a double edge satin organza trim. Available in 1 tier or 2, any length or width.

Sweet Karan #24: This veil is a very simple cut-edge 1-tier veil in diamond white with scattered teeny crystal flatbacks. The length is 'butt' length... 32"

Sweet Peanut #25: A one or two tiered veil in diamond white with gold trim. You can have any fabric you like, length, width, etc.

Sweet Heather #26: This veil has gentle scallops... and the pics bite, but there are 18" scallops around the veil's piping edge and at each peak is a cluster of pearls in a floral format. It's not poufy at all... but lies beautifully even though full in width.

Sweet Darcy #27: This veil is a 2-tier tulle veil with a generous sprinkling of Swarovski beads to add sparkle. It has silver pencil edging, and is just gloriously "bridal"!!

Sweet Christie #28 It has 'rattail trim, 2 tiers and some Swarovskis to brighten it up!

Sweet Georgia #29. Ribbon trim on 2 tiers.

Sweet Kimberly #30: White organiza ribbon trim

Sweet Erin #31: Silk organza with 1/4" matte trim. It makes for a gorgeous veil. Very light, still quite see-through, and great with silk organza skirts to match!

Sweet Rhiannon #32: With scalloped burgundy trim

Sweet Jessica #33: This veil has been done with a flat cording in diamond white, with alternating Swarovski flowers and pearls around the trim. For the life of me, I can't get a good picture of the Swarovski flower stones... all I can say, is that while they're pricey (25 cents each), they sparkle like nothing else I have. I can't wait for Jess to send me a photo of her wearing it! (and ummm, excuse Judy's naked bum!)

Sweet Liz #34: A white organza veil with 1/2" satin ribbon trim. Here are pics of dear Liz in her signature veil... wow, it's so nice to see it on the beaming bride! Liz, you look amazing :) Thank you for sharing the pics, and all my best to you and your sweet (and obviously very in love) hubby.

Sweet Sofia #35: Named after a very special mother :)

Sweet Felicia #36: A butt length veil with a gorgeous floral lace trim.

Sweet Daisy #37: similar to the Sweet Felicia, this veil has a daisy chain border which is really cute!

Sweet Pogo #38: This is a 2-tier veil with 7/8" satin-edged organza trim. It has full volume and is very 'bridal'.

Sweet Jess #39: This is the edging in silver done in a tulle veil with little florettes in Swarovski flatbacks every 6".

Sweet Ada #40: A veil sewn with the thin cording to replace pencil trim, and all ready for the bride to be!

Sweet Mary Ann #41: This veil has a metallic thin silver cording around it... nicer than pencil edged silver, and sparkly yet understated.

Sweet Maricar #42: One of my most proud creations, and with a wonderful bride to work with. This is my Sweet Maricar... a lace edged veil that was a delight to make, and the name of the veil describes the bride to a 'T'!! Maricar, you are a gem. I loved working with you on this, and it really inspired me to make it as perfect as could be. She and I worked together to make this veil... she chose the lace, and I did the design, and I think at the end of the day, we produced something truly beautiful... including a friendship :).

Sweet Misty #43: A two-tiered veil with extra bling created with a selection of both AB and regular Swarovski crystals for our lovely bride Misty!.

Sweet Desire #44: Here is a new signature veil, of which there will be limited quantities. The Sweet Desire is cathedral length, pure white, and sells for $90. It has scalloped lace edging and is gorgeous. I also have a waist length version available for $50. Both have wire combs attached.
